Current mood: cheerful

This year I am afraid that I chose to abstain from the festivities at Malfoy Manor as I was quite worn out from the Hallowe'en ball at our own castle. Professor Wiglorn and I spent the evening having the most enchanting discussion in regards to accountants. Accountants, for those who are not so Mugglely inclined, are a form of mathematicians in the Muggle world. Being a halfblood myself I have always been aware of accountants. My father was a maths enthusiast.

Professor Black's costume was most amusing and suffice it to say Professor Lupin made an absolute bang as Sir Cadogan. I am afraid I lost count of the amount of times I saw Martin Miggs, but Mr Finnigan, please take three points for Gryffindor for your excellent Scorpio Nespoir costume.

I have recently encountered a hair-flavoured Bertie Botts and have, I am afraid, been ill for the past day in consequence. I do wish sometimes that they had some sort of diagram, as it is impossible to know whether a brown bean is going to be chocolate, molasses, sausage, hair, dirt or any other number of things. Perhaps it is best to avoid them altogether but I confess I find the mystery the best part!

Just yesterday I spotted Mr Potter chewing his quill in such a fashion that made me nostalgic for my days in Vienna. Ah, youth.
