Oh Dear Merlin can I not do anything right?

I had to cut off my last journal entry because I realized I forgot to check on the tart shells that Dacey and a few of Remus's house elves taught me to make and I burnt them.

I could not even remember to watch something in an oven and now I have burnt tart shells! Who else is so pathetic that they would stoop to burning tart shells?!

I am an absolute disaster.

I think I have spotted a gray hair. I have burnt pastry flakes. My husband is ignoring my son. My son is ignoring me. My husband is also ignoring me.

I am out of vodka in any way, shape, or form.

Those Hera Peligroso motivational books I bought at Flourish and Blotts have not done a bit of good!

If anyone should happen to call at Dogear Wryde today, I shall be holed up in the East Wing too ashamed to deal with polite society.

I confess to being at a bit of a loss, Narcissa. You asked for space, and I gave it to you. I would not ever clip your wings or stand in the way of your journey of self-actualization. However, now I am being accused of *ignoring* you. I have been indisposed this week, and have not been able to leave the Manor, due to a most greivous physical condition, but you have never been far from my thoughts.

I told you that I was withholding all contact with Draco for two weeks, due to his behavior. It is a punishment, and nothing more. I endeavor only to help mold him into the Malfoy that I know he can become, and a testament to his mother.

Then why did you not let me know at once that something was wrong with you, Lucius? I am still your wife. I have a responsibility to be there for you in 'sickness and in health', do I not? You would be the one to know as you were so willing to throw our vows in my face not long ago.

What exactly is this grievous physical condition? Are you still suffering from it?

Draco needs guidance, not the sort of punishment that you have decreed.

I did not want to interfere, Narcissa. You seem to be happy with Remus and Sirius, and I didn't want to take you away from all of that. That's all. I am nearly fully recovered, yes, but I'm afraid that my hair is shorter now. I had to have a measure of it cut off.

I said I was withholding contact, just to give him an idea of what life would be like were he disowned. I did not say that I would not watch over him. I never stopped.
