My Little Dragon,
You have been receiving my owls, haven't you? They have returned empty-beaked each time and I have sent you three posts today so clearly my letters have been delivered to someone. Please write me back, won't you darling? I have some things that I would like to discuss with you.

Have you heard, dear? Your father bought me a puppy and a Chalet for no reason other than he wanted to! With that sort of generosity for no occassion out of the ordinary, I am very eager to see what sort of extraordinary gift he provides me with tomorrow on my birthday.

I do wish you could come to the Manor and celebrate my birthday with your father and myself but I do understand that you cannot leave school in the middle of the week. Perhaps we can arrange to meet this weekend, dearest?

If you would, perhaps you might pop over to Hogwarts tomorrow evening? I've a bit of a surprise for you, for your birthday. It would have to be rather late - I've loads of work to do and I'm certain you have plans, but say around eleven or so? I'll meet you at the gates and escort you onto the grounds.
