Dacey informed me last evening that 'young Mister Malfoy and Mister Potter' were here at Dogear Wryde. I thanked her for alerting me but decided that it would be best for everyone if I simply remained in the guest house so as not to disturb them. The only time I left the guest home was to walk Echo about the grounds as she does love an evening stroll out by the gardens. Portions of the main house were illuminated and I must confess that my heart lurched at the sight, knowing that my son was so very close and yet apparently has no desire to speak with me. I have no idea what time the boys left even though I was awake all evening turning thoughts over and over in my head and could hear utter silence throughout Dogear Wryde. I think I shall stay in bed all day today despite Dacey's urging that I ought to do something for myself to cheer up.

Do not fret, Narcissa, I am sure there is still hope, and plenty of time to repair your relationship when your son is ready. Would you like to take tea this evening in my office? We may discuss it then at your leisure, and as I will have just gotten back from another long, silent detention with Draco, I am sure I would welcome the company.

Hilda:
I could certainly use the company. With Dacey's assistance I shall rouse myself out of bed and we can have a chat later on this evening. Shall 9 PM be too terribly late?
