Q is for quandary.
Well, I've got Filbert Snodgrass from Slytherin for a partner, if you don't know him he's that spotty bloke with the greasy hair, big specs, and the LUDICROUS INHALER. I've got used to him sucking the life out of it between sneezing, and I've got him to where he'll cover his mouth if he sneezes now. I love Love Your Neighbour Week. I've always secretly wanted slimy fingerprints all over me and my stuff.
Filbert and I got nearly nothing done today, though we did sit in on McGonagall and Vector's lesson. (The Sorting Hat put a bit of fear into everyone I think. Still Gryffindor naturally! I can't imagine if someone got a different house than they were originally sorted to, how awful! Though I wouldn't mind getting sorted as Ravenclaw, their dormitories are so peaceful.) I thought I should get Filbert to help me decide which ten Good Deeds we wanted to do but he seemed fairly indecisive, not wanting to do any of them really. I'm not about to do all ten of the Deeds on my own. In the end the Good Deed I did was to train Filbert to cover his mouth when he is feeling a sneeze coming on. I think you'll agree with me. That counts as teaching a partner a new skill, doesn't it?
Tomorrow's a lesson with Sinistra and Trelawney, that should be fun. I hope it's not at midnight in the Astronomy Tower 'cos frankly I don't trust Filbert's hands, and neither does Evan.

Hello Ginny I miss you I think. And yes mouth covering should count as a skill.

Hello, Luna! I miss you too!! I'm so sorry about your glasses, you must miss them a lot. Since passwords aren't in effect right now, you should come around Gryffindor often! I mean if you don't mind Filbert hanging around like a bad smell.

I can't tell if I miss them or not. Maybe I'll be in the mood to come to Gryffindor soon. It might cheer me up. Draco Malfoy almost did, too, so I might visit Slytherin.

Urgh, well, suit yourself. Maybe Malfoy will write you some poetry.
(parent) blushcrush @ 2004-02-10 10:44 pm UTC Re: |
Of course! Things can get broken pretty easily in this house, though...
(parent) dooglevoluna @ 2004-02-10 10:47 pm UTC Re: |
That isn't what I meant, but now that I think on it you're right and they will probably get broken.

I wouldn't break them, Ginny, you know I wouldn't break them! And I can't break them if I'm wearing them now can I?!

Listen here, she Weasel. Would you happen to know if Snodgrass was told he was meant to be in another house?
potterstinks @ 2004-02-10 10:42 pm UTC |
It is absolutely my business. In fact, it's more my business than his.
(parent)potterstinks @ 2004-02-10 10:51 pm UTC |
The fact that I'm his elder and can have My Father see if his house can be changed if it's necessary.
(parent) blushcrush @ 2004-02-10 10:55 pm UTC Re: |
Oh, go ahead! You know, he'll probably tell you himself if you just ask him.
(parent) blushcrush @ 2004-02-10 11:07 pm UTC Re: |
That was positively Professors Black and Snape of you.

EVAN'S GOT NO SAY
What is it Filbert got of yours, your nail varnish?
blushcrush @ 2004-02-10 11:06 pm UTC Re: |
Well you've got no say either, tomato-ears.
No, of course he's not got my nail varnish. What a silly prized possession that would be. Guess again!
knight_to_h3 @ 2004-02-10 11:10 pm UTC Re: |
Of course I do, rabbit nose, I'm older!
Is it Dante?
blushcrush @ 2004-02-10 11:12 pm UTC Re: |
And dumber!
No, Dante's safe and sound. Everything in my dorm room is still there.
knight_to_h3 @ 2004-02-10 11:14 pm UTC Re: |
WTF WHAT IS IT? UGH PLEASE TELL ME IT'S NOT SOMETHING GIRLY
(parent) blushcrush @ 2004-02-10 11:15 pm UTC Re: |
No, definitely not something girly.
However speaking of girly, you got in that box yet?
