Relative calm!
Feast was wonderful -- Hogwarts feasts always are! The Three Broomsticks was decorated suitingly for a celebration, warm and cosy and bright, though I noticed the usual house banners were missing. I've never sat next to people from other houses at feasts before, you know, usually you sit with your friends. Professor Black and Professor Snape even sat together but they were bound together with cuffs or something, that's what everyone's saying! There was a cheer when we all got to trade our possessions back. I heard someone's toad died but I haven't found out whose, so I suspect that's rubbish. If it died, it's probably 'cos it's so bloody cold out. Filbert took good care of my possession, not a crease or crinkle in it.
Evan and I nipped off as soon as we could, wandered about catching up a bit, and stopped to listen to a quartet singing old standard love songs right in the middle of the street. They were even candy-striped. It was terribly nice, quite frosty though. You could see their breaths as they sang. Eventually quite a crowd gathered, they took a few requests, and wouldn't you know, my brother went and sang a song with them. He seemed quite eager to, said he'd had a lot of practise and loads of gold records, but that may have had something to do with the pretty blonde witch in the quartet - she looked Veela to me. Either way, Ron, I'm sure you have a future singing with the Village Voices! Mum'd be so proud!
It's so quiet around here now, I can hardly believe it. I reckon we all needed a bit of a rest after such a busy week. I suppose it's back to the daily grind now!

You should have seen! Evan and I were just standing there listening when all of a sudden Ron barrelled out of nowhere and joined right in. I didn't even know he knew the song they were singing, something about sunshine and lollipops? In fact I didn't even know he could carry a tune!
