Stupid Nightmare! I mean, Ball!
Oh gosh, I feel terrible! I think I hurt Colin's feelings. I'm so sorry, Colin! I completely misread his invitation to the ball. I had heard he was going with someone else, anyway. Still, I feel just awful, going on about not having a date when I'd been asked... but I am going with Fred now... :( Gosh, I'm going to lose sleep tonight.
Well...I tried on my dress robes today, and am pleased they still mostly fit, as I don't seem to be growing much anymore, but the sleeves are a bit short and I've decided I'll spend tomorrow working on the hems to see how far I can let them down. I need to fix one bit anyway because it got stepped on at the Yule Ball and torn just a little. :) I asked Mum in my letter about advise on charms that might be of use to lengthen it, so we'll see what I can do!
Harry seems quiet lately - um, I wonder who he's taking to the ball? Maybe it will get his spirits up. And Ron? Aren't you bringing anyone? George, what about you?
Silly Ball. I'm looking forward to it, of course, but I'll be relieved when it's over.

Don't worry about it, Ginny, Colin can very well find someone else to go with. He's been hanging out with Slytherins a lot lately, I wouldn't allow her to take my sister to the ball even if you agreed! Honestly, hanging out with the wrong sorts won't do much good for him! Anyway, isn't Fred bringing you new robes for the ball? Oh and I'm going with Hermione, didn't she tell you? I thought she would have said something or, well it's not a big deal anyway, so yeah. That's just it... I really thought I'd heard that he was going with that boy who follows around Malfoy - you know. I hope he doesn't end up getting hurt or something. :\
I don't know about the robes, but I don't mind fixing up my ones from third year! At least I will have been able to wear them more than once!
Oh, did you finally ask Hermione? I mean, talk to her about the Ball? I'm so excited that you two are going together! Not that it's a big deal. It's just great, though!

Oh my gosh!!! You both! Goyle is my... acquaintance!!!! We're almost even friends! Who on EARTH said that we were going to the BALL together?!!? 8^\ He's really nice but I don't think it would really be appropriate to take him to the ball, do you?!?!
