I've been busy with assignments and a project I'm working on for a gift, but I've been working on my lantern with all my free time for the last two days - I don't care about winning, but I do want to do a good job with it, because it's the spirit of it that matters, I think. Right now it's painted a pale pink-orange colour and I'm going to paint a different scene on each panel - I have already decided on painting a pagoda on one and the best artistic rendering I can manage of Chang Er on another. I'm not the best artist, but I can beat Ron's stick figures any day. :D

Bill and Charlie are coming with Mum, Dad, and Percy to the Lantern Festival! I am so excited to see them. I want Mum and Dad to meet Soblessa! I also want to meet Soblessa's parents. She says her father is quite mad, so I'm sure I will like him. Like Percy, I wonder if Bill's finally succumbed to Mum and gotten rid of his earring. I hope not! It's quite cool. Sorry, Percy, it is!

Last night a wayward pixie flew into my dorm room and stole one of my pairs of knickers. We've locked up the window tonight.
