I've waited all year for Halloween. A day for everyone to lie to one another and no one gets mad! Except this time they do. Draco Malfoy went to the ball as Harry Potter and Harry didn't find it very funny, I guess. He fought with Draco about it even though he should be flattered. I think he just didn't want to have to dance very much.

Virginia Weasley looked very upset at one point, so I went over to show her my costume. Her house, The Burrow, is just a few houses away from mine. I wonder why we're not best friends. I want one of those, don't you? Oh and, Ronald Weasley rolled around on the floor in his horse costume. He's so funny!

I think I made a friend tonight but I can't tell yet, because it's Halloween.
