ME!
I'M THE NEW LEE JORDAN!!! Professor McGonagall just pulled me aside and said the old one is leaving and asked me if I'd be the Quidditch commentator next term! It's a good thing they'll have me on board, I'm the only one with an eye keen enough to spot all the cheating that goes on!
Take last night, for instance. Just as Malfoy got a foul for cobbing, excessive use of elbows you know, Landgreen cobbed Yellowback! The Gryffindor captain cobbed! No one noticed because they were too busy setting up MacDonald to take the penalty for Gryffindor, which she missed only because Haydt knocked the Quaffle out after it went through.
Pretty creative of Bulstrode to carry Galleons to make Potter think they were the Snitch, though of course that's a foul too, and a dirty stinking one at that! I love Quidditch!
IN YOUR FACE, MOTHERFUCKERS!

I've faith that your keen eye for observations could prove to be an asset as the commentator. Please do, however, mind your language, Mr Macmillan. If you have any further questions, do feel free to see me in my office after I take a much needed 3 minute break to reassure myself that this was a good idea.
Professor M. McGonagall.

Er..sorry, ma'am, I didn't realise that was you. I kind of replied without reading who it was.
(parent)scotchtartan @ 2003-06-15 09:54 pm UTC |
Forgiven, Ernie. However, do try to control your excitement next time, and during matches. I must now extend my break to an hour and 3 minutes instead.
Professor M. McGonagall.

Yes, ma'am. Sorry about that. Don't worry, you can count on Ernie Macmillan. Do you think we could get that printed on shirts for advertisement?
(parent)scotchtartan @ 2003-06-15 10:11 pm UTC |
It's past your bedtime, Mr Macmillan. Please go to bed.
Professor M. McGongall.

That's not going to fit on a t-shirt, Professor! Well, it would probably fit, but it's not going to look very good.

Or maybe 'Ernie Macmillan: He Knows the Score'? Get it? It's a pun!

Oh, sorry, maybe not.

?
scotchtartan @ 2003-06-15 10:13 pm UTC |
Language, Macmillan! As for the slogan request, refer to my previous comment. Evening.
Professor M. McGonagall.
erniemacmillan @ 2003-06-15 10:14 pm UTC |
Okay, I'll sleep on it. I'll have a great one in the morning! We can make badges! With me by your side, McGonagall, you're headed straight for the top. I'm telling you, we'll go far.
(parent)erniemacmillan @ 2003-06-15 10:15 pm UTC |
Since we're going to be working closely in every match, should I just call you Minnie?
(parent)scotchtartan @ 2003-06-15 10:17 pm UTC |
I'm not quite ready to forgo the formalities as yet, Ernie Macmillan. Thank Merlin for Summer breaks.
Professor M. McGonagall.
erniemacmillan @ 2003-06-15 10:19 pm UTC |
I can't wait to tell my big brother! Thanks again, Professor Minnie!
(parent)erniemacmillan @ 2003-06-15 10:22 pm UTC |
Ohhhh. Okay, Professor McGonagall. Wink, wink. Got it.
(Well done! !)
scotchtartan @ 2003-06-15 10:25 pm UTC |
Mr Macmillan, if I receive one more email notification from Livejournal, it will 7 points from Hufflepuff.
Professor McGonagall.
erniemacmillan @ 2003-06-15 10:17 pm UTC |
No, wait, that might make the other pupils jealous and then they'd turn on me. Can't have that.
(parent)scotchtartan @ 2003-06-15 10:23 pm UTC |
Fortunately, no. Let us all rest for the night and grieve for that loss, please.
Professor M. McGonagall.

Um, wow! That's really brilliant Ernie, congratulations! I think you'll do a great job! I hope Quidditch isn't so dirty next year though!
