Home sweet home!
Back in Ballycastle! Dad picked me up at King's Cross and I told him all about Harry Potter and his fish and he was really impressed! He wanted to hunt Potter down and talk to him about it but Potter didn't seem to be in the mood for talking. Which is too bad! Dad got kind of worried when he saw those Muggles Potter had picking him up, though, they were quite scary looking. Dad says all Muggles don't look like that, which is a relief. Rotten luck, Potter.

My birthday was the 27th, I'm seventeen now, so Dad and I are going to go schedule an Apparation test for me this week. It's so weird to be able to do magic outside of Hogwarts. Dad taught me this wicked trick where you can see if anyone's put any spells on you, but it didn't work too well since I'd just come from Hogwarts and we put spells on each other all the time in lessons to try them out. It'll work really well one day, though, and really handy! Mum's in a state, she's still worried about the attack and she won't stop KISSING me. I ask you, is that necessary? Thank God she wasn't at King's Cross.

Dad's going to try to get us tickets to the first Ballycastle match when the season starts. We went last year and Barny the Fruitbat was really cool. I haven't told my parents about being commentator yet because I want to wait until my big brother Sean comes home. He's working to be an Unspeakable, so he goes away for awhile and comes back looking faintly furtive and can't tell us what he's doing, but he teaches me loads of ways to keep my business to myself without anyone finding out what it is. He's brilliant!
