Current music:Mr Newt and Me (The Mapping Magpies)

I am up early!! Why am I up early? My mum woke me up early!! Why did she wake me up early? She's a mental maniac!! She says I have to start getting back into a routine before we get back to Hogwarts so she's been waking me up early all week, never mind that I go to bed at about 1.00, so I ended up falling asleep at half eight last night. Who goes to bed that early? I don't! I was in the middle of trying to decide which coloured inks to use for which lessons, too! Dad and Sean took me to Diagon Alley yesterday and we bought a whole bunch of great coloured inks. I think I'm going to use the crimson for Defence Against the Dark Arts, because it's my favourite colour red is, and that's my favourite lesson so that sounds good. The turquoise I'll use for Herbology and I think the jade for History of Magic. I'll use the orange for Potions just to spruce my notes up a bit.

Anyway! Mum made me buy all these earmuffs and a new cloak so I don't get too cold when I'm commentating on Quidditch matches this season, which really made me feel a bit like a baby. Then again I'm sure she's just proud of me. I told them when Sean got home and they were all really pleased. Dad says I should keep my eye on the Ravenclaws because they cheat when no one expects it. You don't think the Ravenclaws would cheat, so he said they do it really subtle and no one thinks much of it. Then Mum got really quiet and went off to the kitchen and then we all remembered she was in Ravenclaw when she was at Hogwarts. Dad and Sean were in Hufflepuff and of course I am, so she's a bit of a pariah when it comes to it. We don't mean to of course, but she can't quite understand being a Hufflepuff like we can. Not that we can really understand being a Ravenclaw, either, and that's just the way it goes I reckon.

Sean took me to the Ministry of Magic this week to show me where he's been gearing up to be an Unspeakable, but they wouldn't let me go in with him. Perfectly reasonable, I think, and it's good to know they've got their eye out. Not that he could have told me anything anyway, I still don't have a faint clue of what he does but that just makes it even cooler. The Ministry's really fancy, though! I've never been there. Sean has to go through this place called the Department of Mysteries, how cool is that? They're lucky to have him, he's brilliant. He showed me how to invert any spells people put on me so as it'll turn it on them, except that I tried it and then Mum put a spell on me to make me pick up my towels and now she has to pick them all up and she's really angry about it. So I can't really use that or else I might end up putting good spells on people by mistake and missing out. Sean said to only use it in extreme situations anyway.

I haven't heard from Susan all of hols. If she's hacked off at me I wish she'd just tell me. I don't even know what I did. It's not fair to get angry at someone and not tell them why. I think it might be because I ate the last of the cheese soup we had before we left but I didn't know she wanted any. How was I supposed to know? Now I'm afraid she's going to turn Justin against me and everyone else, too. How do I know what she and Justin have been talking about all summer? They're probably complaining about me. Great. I was really looking forward to seeing Justin on the train, too. Now I'm not going to have anyone to sit with. I'll probably have to sit with a bunch of first years.

Exactly. You never comment to my entries at all, unless I write about you being angry at me, and then you comment like you don't know what I'm talking about. I don't really need you to comment to me only when I bring up your lack of commenting only so you can stop commenting again right after.
