Have no fear, Ernie Macmillan is at last here!
So I just got to Hogwarts today, around lunch, because I couldn't get through the bleeding platform on Monday! We were running late because I didn't have all my stuff packed in my trunk on account of Hannah coming over at the weekend, so by the time we got to King's Cross Mum and Dad just dropped me off and left so I'd get to the train fast enough. Except when I got to the platform, I couldn't get through, only it was really weird, it was like something was stuck in it. I didn't know what to do and Mum had given me Muggle money for emergencies, so I just got on another train thinking it might go somewhere near Hogwarts. Anyway, I ended up in Manchester, completely lost. Liver was scared out of his mind, that's my cat. So I'm walking around Manchester with a trunk and a cat and everyone's looking at me weird and Liver's trying to jump down because people are making hissing noises at him because they think it's funny, and all I wanted was to find somewhere to duck into and Apparate. I finally found somewhere and tried to Apparate to Hogwarts, because I forgot you can't, and then I couldn't do that so I Apparated to my grandmother's. Only she was still on holiday in France so she wasn't even there. I didn't really know what to do and by that time it was getting late, so I just stayed at my grandmother's since there was all that nice food there going to waste.
I don't have an owl and my grandmother must have taken hers with her, so I couldn't really contact anyone. Anyway, on TUESDAY, I slept in pretty late and forgot I was supposed to be at Hogwarts and er, I kind of spent the day reading Martin Miggs comics. Then I realised I had somewhere to be and started wondering if anyone else had any problems getting through. As it turns out, of course not, it was just me! I think Potter and Weasley did it on purpose. They probably thought it would be really funny to start my year off lost and confused. Apparently they took the Knight Bus. I don't even know how to call the Knight Bus so of course I couldn't do anything like that.
I finally decided to Apparate to Hogsmeade, except Hogwarts is a pretty far walk from Hogsmeade, so I stayed the night. Madam Rosmerta was really nice to me, she let me stay in the back room at the Three Broomsticks. It was all right I suppose, only I had to use a bag of flour for a pillow. TODAY I finally walked to Hogsmeade, and now I'm safe and sound at Hogwarts.
Or am I?
Why is it always ME who ends up having the shite happening to them? Why was it ME who had to go stay with bags of flour? Honestly, this is completely prejudice. Potter and Weasley trying to have a laugh at my expense. Nice! Really nice!

wow ernie, thats really bad. i dont think they did it on purpose though. i heard them say in herbology that they didnt mean to take the knight bus. ok?
