Unbelievable!
Well, I did it. I finally went and talked to Susan today.
Everything was going great, but it was kind of weird. She's still hurt, which is my fault, I know. But at least she was willing to talk to me, so maybe that's a good sign. I still have her Christmas presents, too. I was going to throw them out, but I thought she should have them anyway.
Like I said, everything was going great, and then she said she was invited to Mrs Malfoy's girly thing this weekend! Like Susan wants to go to anything like that! Susan doesn't even LIKE all that girly stuff, let alone doing it at the Malfoys' house! So of course I assumed she wasn't going, and I think that just made things worse because I said she doesn't like all that pretty stuff. I wasn't saying she isn't pretty! Susan is ... well she's the prettiest girl I know, that's all. I just meant she doesn't care about Witch Weekly and all that other rubbish, but she was upset anyway. And now she'll probably end up going, and it's going to be my fault! Again.
Now she'll probably start trying to use those weird beauty charms that Morag uses and she'll stop playing Quidditch so she can be more girly, I just know it. Why am I so useless? I should just stop leaving the dorm. But then someone'll take points off because I'm not doing my work. Great.
