Bachelor parties: the death knell of a man's freedom. In which you are meant to be debauched and sow the remainder of your wild oats.
Mine merely served to remind me where, and with whom, I'd rather be for the rest of my life.
I am the first to admit I've never been faithful to anyone. I've never even tried. No one has ever asked fidelity of me.
For that matter, Remus hasn't either.
But I find I want to give it to him.
Lucius was at my party. Uninvited. And extremely persistent. But whatever anyone may think, nothing happened. Other than Lucius' feelings (if indeed he has any) being hurt, ensuring that he would at some point attempt revenge.
That did indeed happen.
But the far more hurtful maliciousness came from a much closer source.
Funny how people who you thought were your friends, or at least on good terms with, can stab you in the back far more effectively than your enemies.
People do love to see someone get their comeuppance, if they perceive it to be well-deserved and long in coming.
The duel was ridiculous. I understand that Remus felt he had to, but he just endangered himself. Harry brought him to me, and together we took him to the hospital wing. We've been here ever since.
As usual, everything was a mess of misunderstanding and bad timing. No one was unfaithful to a significant degree to anyone else, and sorry, but the wedding is still on.
I imagine much wagered money will change hands at this.
I love Remus with every fibre of my being. If I had a soul, though I do not believe in such, it would belong to him. I cannot guarantee in all certainty that my body will never touch another's; in fact, the details of our sex lives are quite complicated enough already, consensual, and none of anyone's business.
Goodnight, Hogwarts.

Complicated is a fairly large word for you. Did you finally crack open that dictionary you recieved at Christmas?
You are also an idiot.

Ah, Sevvie. Must I continually remind you that my marks (except for the dreadfully boring Potions) were higher than yours?
We idiots must stick together, then.
