This weekend has just convinced me that the only thing wrong with the English Channel is that the French are on the other side of it. I'm telling you, they can take an idea that has made billions in America and suck all the life out of it.
But Harry wanted to go, so we went to Euro Disney. Now. Being amongst Muggles is usually not much fun, but you'd think it would be better in a place that bills itself as "Where Magic Lives."
Not so. Sweet Merlin.
We only lasted a few hours (which was fine as we snuck in without paying, using the Cloak, hush Remus) before we had to remove to fairer climes.
And decent food.
I do believe pizza is an art form.
But I digress.
It was on to Italy the next day, and we purchased items that should ascertain that the garden will be filled with noise and broomsticks this summer. I for one think it will be wonderful.
But the best part was getting to spend time with Harry, of course. No matter how wretched the surroundings, he can always make me laugh. I do believe he enjoyed getting out as well.
Right, well Remus is pouting that I'm ignoring him, so I'd best close this entry.
