It's good to know I can still do something right.
In my travels I came across a practitioner of a little known blend of magic and Muggle arts, who had had some success in removing memory blocks. Apparently the subject basically has to do it himself. The problem is, while in a trance most people cannot speak the spell required to break the spell. That's why you have to have two people to do it. The other thing is that it requires a correct mental state on the subject's part, sort of like a Patronus. It's all quite fascinating, and I'm sure after a few more tries Neville will make some progress.
I'm sure this is quite an untapped field, the blend of magic and Muggle skills.
