One ought to put some effort into a costume, but I do draw the line at making partygoers miserable, and in the spirit of spreading spooky good cheer, I hereby award the following points:
Five to Hufflepuff for Justin Finch-Fletchley's astonishingly stylish lace-up shoes.
Five to Ravenclaw for Mandy Brocklehurst's fascinating conversation.
Five to Gryffindor for Hermione Granger's carefully-coiffed head.
Five to Hufflepuff for Hannah Abbott's haste to do her duty to Hogwarts. I'm certain it was important, whatever it was.
Ten to Gryffindor for Ron Weasley's spectacularly funny costume. I haven't laughed so hard in years, watching him roll and bounce about.
Ten to Gryffindor for Harry Potter's wisdom in staying out of Professor Snape's way.
