Classes and Draco's Shadow
I am slowly beginning to feel myself again. I suppose all these pepper-up potions are helping (with much thanks to Millicent.) I still haven't recieved any soup yet, but this is not Millicent's fault at all.

I have managed to keep my head up in classes and take decent notes on the lessons, but despite the interesting topic matter of Professor Binns' class, his monotonous voice acts much like a lullaby. It is unfortunate that such a wonderful topic could not be lectured on by a more animated speaker. However, Professor Binns is a nice man and he does know his subject well.

Most days Draco, Millicent, and I walk to classes together, sometimes with Greg and Vince along. Lately, I have the sneaking suspicion that Draco has gained a stalker, and it isn't me. I have yet to see the person, but I did catch a glimpse of brownish hair. Of course, I've been taking so much pepper-up potions I wouldn't put it past myself to have imagined it. Although perhaps I shouldn't have mentioned it as I don't think Draco will be too thrilled at the prospect. There are enough girls at the other house tables making eyes at him during supper.

However, that's unimportant. Yesterday, we had another animagus class. It was quite informative and the lectures were interesting. However, I could not help but feel there was a lot of tension between the teachers. Professor McGonagall looked quite impatient with Professors Lupin and Black, and to be honsest, I truly feel for her because she is such a wonderful teacher who takes her job so seriously. However, despite whatever personal problems were affecting them, all the professors did a wonderful job in the end.

I've further investigated this new stalker, and have pinpointed her as a Ravenclaw girl. I am beginning to think that females shall never learn that stalking is not a form of courting.

I don't really know any Ravenclaws but honestly, I can't think of any pretty brunettes from Ravenclaw, although there are a few attractive blondes and a nice looking asian girl.

But oh, Draco, darling, you have such a difficult time with all these girls chasing after you. I do sympathize. Perhaps you should give up on us females altogether.

Really, it isn't very surprising that there aren't any attractive Ravenclaws, is it? Look at what all those years behind the library stacks have done to Granger.

Having girls chase after me comes with the territory of being a Malfoy. And ha bloody ha. I could no sooner give up on females than I could give up on being a Pureblood. Unless, of course, I am forced into abstinence.

Darling, you know I adore you and I'm only trying to think of what' s best for you.

What would be best for me would be for drippy witches to stop following me around like lost puppies. Honestly, as though the Broomstick Up Arse train of thought is in this term.

Oh yes - let's DO look at what all those years in the library have done for me... Why, I do believe they've enabled me to get better marks than YOU do, Malfoy.

Yes, and just look at all the friends it's earned you, too. I did notice the Weasel talking to some Hufflepuff girl earlier. I wonder what on earth that was about. Funny, her face wasn't hidden behind a pile of books.

I don't know what you're trying to insinuate, Malfoy. Is there some reason why Ron shouldn't speak to people in other houses? Just because you only want to talk to other Slytherins does not mean that the rest of the houses are so insular.
