The Blue of my Oblivion - Blue Flowers, Blue Nails, Blue Shamrocks
I've spent most of this week doing some early revising for our end of term exams, tucked away in the library. I don't find the thought of this year's exams nearly as vexing as I did last year's OWLS. Not that I don't want to do well of course, it's just, well, different.
At least I wasn't alone in the library. Hannah and I worked on some Astronomy assignments. Sometimes it seems so odd to be so analytical about something as beautiful as the heavens. Seamus has been quietly studying with us too, another odd sort of thing.
What I mean is, it isn't odd to see Seamus studying or for him to study with us - He studies just like everyone else. Maybe more when it comes to animagus sudies, but that's as it should be. No what's odd is that he's studying quietly. I mean, dreadfully quite. There have been no whispered jokes about Muckrackus the Mal-Adjusted, or elbow nudges to look at something particularly amusing. I mean, over all, Seamus has been, well, rather somber. He even has circles under his eye. Not that there is anything wrong with being serious, nothing at all wrong with it, really. It's just, well, odd is all.
Even my nail color seems to match the mood around here, blue. On the plus side it goes with the new bracelet Padma gave me.
