Away We Go
It wasn't a flaw in the school's structural integrity. I mean it was but it wasn't. Not in the way I thought it was, at least. You see, I thought that maybe it had something to do with the age and architecture of the castle. I mean, plenty of old buildings have trouble, right? It's completely normal. It's expected that's why there are preservation societies and charms.

This wasn't normal decay caused by age or deterioration caused by stonemits as is common in less well-kept castles and such structures. This was a deliberate invasion, conceived by adults and carried out in the dwelling of hundreds of kids. There were Death Eaters in our school. Our School!

This isn't supposed to happen. It just isn't. I mean, sure we've had our share of strange beasts lurking the halls, but we've been relatively safe here. And now… well now it seems we're not.

I can't wait to get away from here. I can't believe I'm saying this but, home and mum's library never seemed so inviting as they do right now. The past few weeks I was absolutely, well, dreading the end of term. Now, all I want is to get off the train tomorrow, get home and shut myself in the library away from, well, away from things.

You are coming to Ireland, though, aren't you? Please say you are!

I guess, I mean, well, I know life cannot stop because something terrible enters it but, Merlin, this is just so unreal, Shay.
