What is Hogwarts coming to???
This was a Hogsmeade weekend and I was really looking forward to it. Ron and I hadn't been spending as much time with Harry as we usually do, and the three of us were going together.
We went in this afternoon and shopped at Honeyduke's and then the bookshop - I was able to find a great book on Egyptian runes, which I'm quite happy about, although Ron mentioned owling his brother Bill who works in Egypt to see if he could find any good books there as well. Ron can be so sweet sometimes.

Then we went over to the joke shop and visited with Fred and George for a bit - they also gave us some new things to try, but honestly, I'm always afraid of trying their new items. I generally wait to see if Harry or Ron tries and/or recovers before I will touch them.

All that was very nice, but the strangest part was yet to come. We were headed over to the Three Broomsticks for butterbeers when we ran into Ginny and her friend Soblessa and invited them to come along. We all got a table and Harry had just gotten up to order our butterbeers when a fight broke out!

It wasn't just anyone fighting, either - it was Professor Snape, Professor Black, Madam Hooch and I think I saw Professor Lupin as well! Things just went completely mad - people were throwing bottles, tables and chairs were turned over - it was complete chaos. Ron and I dove under one table, Ginny and Soblessa were under another, and somehow Harry ended up under a table with Malfoy! Amazingly, they weren't trying to kill each other under there, either, which seems a bit ironic considering how everyone else in the place WAS trying to kill each other, it seemed! It was completely unreal!

I couldn't believe that Hogwarts professors were acting in such an uncouth manner! And really, one has to wonder why Professor Black and Professor Snape are always at each other's throats - surely there is something unresolved there? I really think they need to talk it out or something, before they end up killing each other - instead of simply in JAIL! They were put in jail - I would imagine that Professor Dumbledore has been informed, but he is a busy man, so who knows when he'll be able to arrange their release?

But the worst part was poor Ginny - I'm not sure how it happened, but a bottle hit her on the head and knocked her unconscious! Soblessa screamed and Harry dove across the room to her, but the poor thing was out. Professor McGonagall showed up and took Ginny back to Hogwarts to the hospital wing after that - the fight was broken up about that time as well.

Honestly, never in my life would I have expected such a thing. I think I'm still in shock
