Uh, Professor, do you need an assistant for this, like for the dragon lecture a few months ago? I can help if you want! If not, are we allowed to buddy up with people from other houses?

potterstinks @ 2003-03-30 11:06 pm UTC

Oh, who are you going to partner with, Weasley? Eloise Midgen?

knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-30 11:19 pm UTC

What do you care, Malfoy?! Mind your own sodding business for once, will you?!

(parent)
potterstinks @ 2003-03-30 11:25 pm UTC

Oh, I just wanted to commend you on your recent opinions, is all. Of course, in a day or two I imagine you'll be snivelling and apologising, but it's rather shocking seeing a Weasley acting proper for once.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-30 11:28 pm UTC

What?? What did Chang do to you??

(parent)
potterstinks @ 2003-03-30 11:36 pm UTC

Oh, nothing, really. Of course, she's a complete riff-raff unworthy of playing Quidditch, but there's nothing new there. I just think it's rather pathetic that someone would have to Polyjuice themselves as Boot of all people in order to get a date. I happen to think the fact that even the staff has condemned you for speaking the truth speaks volumes about the sad state of affairs in this school.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-30 11:41 pm UTC

Uh, yeah...

(parent)
just_harry @ 2003-03-30 11:51 pm UTC

Ron?

(parent)
potterstinks @ 2003-03-31 12:05 am UTC

It must be terribly difficult when none of your supposed 'friends' understand you.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 03:22 am UTC

It's not like that, Harry and- oh what do you know about having friends anyway!

(parent)
potterstinks @ 2003-03-31 03:28 am UTC

Oh, but I think it is like that. Friends are supposed to be understanding and all that, aren't they? You'd think if they were understanding, they'd not fly off their rockers.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 03:39 am UTC

Yeah but- maybe.. actually he didn't fly off- it was because.. wait. What are you playing at, Malfoy??

(parent)
potterstinks @ 2003-03-31 03:42 am UTC

Oh, nothing. I'm just wondering why someone would want to be friends with people who always think they're wrong.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 03:44 am UTC

Why don't you go ask him?!

(parent)
potterstinks @ 2003-03-31 03:45 am UTC

I just did ask you.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 03:48 am UTC

Oh. Why do you care?! I think Chang is evil but Harry and Ginny disagree, that's it and why am I talking to you about this?!

(parent)
potterstinks @ 2003-03-31 03:52 am UTC

I've noticed Granger's disappeared. You'd think she'd at least stand up for you.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 03:56 am UTC

You don't know Hermione very well, do you! She didn't disappear, she's in the library, armed with very heavy books as weapons. I don't bloody need anyone to stand up for me!!

(parent)
potterstinks @ 2003-03-31 03:56 am UTC

No, I suppose not, seeing as you're right.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 04:01 am UTC

...what? I am? I mean, yeah I'm right, I know but- STOP REPLYING, MALFOY

(parent)
just_harry @ 2003-03-31 12:22 am UTC

Never mind, I guess.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 03:23 am UTC

?

(parent)
just_harry @ 2003-03-31 06:21 am UTC

Nothing. You probably found a partner by now anyway.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 06:33 am UTC

Have you?

(parent)
just_harry @ 2003-03-31 06:41 am UTC

I've got some ideas, yeah. But not any official partner or anything yet.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 06:46 am UTC

Yeah, me too then.

(parent)
just_harry @ 2003-03-31 06:53 am UTC

Fine then. Me too.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 07:22 am UTC

Who did you choose?

(parent)
just_harry @ 2003-03-31 11:26 am UTC

I'm still thinking it over. I haven't narrowed it down yet.

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 02:07 pm UTC

Reckon lots of people asked to buddy with you already huh

(parent)
just_harry @ 2003-03-31 11:29 am UTC

Who did you choose?

(parent)
knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 02:13 pm UTC

Uh, I'm still thinking about it.. Who still doesn't have a partner?

(parent)
seekercho @ 2003-03-30 11:56 pm UTC

Don't you have someone to go and fondle, Malfoy? Goyle is getting pretty lonely.

I'm sorry, Mr Weasley, but I really don't think I can use an assistant this time around. Dragons were one thing, but this is a fairly personal project, so. Your offer is of course appreciated, however, and if anything should come up, I'll be sure to call on you.

As for partnering between houses... It sort of defeats the purpose of sharing books and materials as you will shuttle from house to house and dragging everything along with you. It sounds like more trouble than it's worth.

Are you having difficulty finding a partner in your own house?

knight_to_h3 @ 2003-03-31 03:24 am UTC

Oh, alright then. No, I'm just thinking it'd be cool to get to know people from other houses, you know, all that culture exchange stuff, but it's okay.. Thanks anyway, Professor.
