So....the duel
...
First off, NO, I didn't erase all of Sir Cadogan. That's a vicious rumor. I just erased PART of his arm. Not even ALL of it. And then I turned him against the wall and he ran away into another painting, which Proffessor Lupin said counted as a surrender. So YES, we won...technically.....
but I am VERY VERY BITTER.
I am an ARTIST.
I have damaged a PAINTING.
I AM NOT HAPPY.
BOOT IS A DEAD MAN.

Well... think of it this way, Dean - your honour was at stake, and Cadogan is a man - um, artistic personification - of honour so I doubt he's really cross with you or anything. Knights are weird like that - he probably thinks you were a worthy opponent or something. Moreso than bloody MALFOY and BOOT who DIDN'T EVEN SHOW UP!
What if you offered to fix Cadogan? You're a good artist, I bet you could paint him a new arm! And then you wouldn't have to feel so bad about defacing him. Even if he did ask for it by calling your mother a dozy cow.
At least you don't have anything written on your forehead. -.-
