Current mood:hysterical

Attn: Remus
I don't know who else to turn to and I'm so very sorry to be disturbing you on account of the holiday weekend and the moon phase. I just-

I don't know what to DO.

I apparated into my mother's home in Cannes not long ago as I just left Lucius. He- I could not take living with that man and his infernal rules about my child one moment longer so I just left Going home to Mother seemed the most logical step to take in these proceedings. To my surprise she greeted me in the front foyer where Lucius and I always apparated in. It was as though she were expecting me, which she was I later found out. Before I could even get a few words out to tell her what had happened, my mother began to berate me. As she is a lady first, my mother never raised her voice in anger toward me. However, I was well aware of her displeasure with my decision. Apparently Lucius had had a fire-chat with my mother before I popped in. She- she accused me of not respecting my husband and his feelings and informed me that she had raised me to be a lady and to obey and honour my husband and until I learned to do so that I would not be welcome in her home.

I haven't very much money on my person at the moment or else I would have taken up a room somewhere. Please, Remus, if you can help me in any way possible it would be greatly appreciated. Currently I am in some sort of Muggle (of all things!) pub with entre nets and I do not know where or what to do next.

Mother, surely you shouldn't be in a Muggle pub. You have no idea what could happen, and honestly I don't care to know. You could always come to Hogwarts, I expect. Of course, it's not the life of luxury, but it's certainly better to come here. Perhaps you can wait until you and Father both feel better and return to the Manor. I think that would likely be the best idea for everyone. I'm sure Father is just having a busy week at work.

Are you still in the Muggle pub?

blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-17 09:27 pm UTC

I know I shouldn't be in a Muggle pub but it's cold and I didn't know what else to do, darling. I'm afraid that I don't know the way to Hogwarts from here and I can't rightly ask anyone for directions, now can I?

I don't think I'll be feeling better in regards to your father anytime soon, dear. It would not be the best idea for everyone if I went to the Manor right now. This is for the best, Draco.

Love,
Mother

Mother, you can't just sit around in a Muggle pub! God, if you have to be with Muggles, you could at least go to one of their phony little magic shops or something. Their pubs are dirty. Can't you Apparate to another room in Grandmother's Manor?

I rather hope you've left by now, as you'll certainly stick out. Alternately, you could go to the Parkinsons', though I'm not entirely certain Pansy's mother likes having company over. Of course, there's always Crabbe's mother as well.

Once again, I am reduced to the role of messenger-boy to the endamaged quadruped. My delectation knows no bounds.

Narcissa, His Most Pileous - who has finally managed to rejoin the au courant - decrees that you are to make your way to his pretentious dwelling and remain there until you deign to return to your former address.

Also, I give you this articulate missive: "Make yourself at home, dear."

I feel decidedly unclean now.

Professor Snape

Mother, I really think it would be better if you came to Hogwarts. However, if you're getting out of the Muggle pub, then I suppose that's the least that can happen. The Prefects' lounge is connected to the fire network as well, so of course I can talk to you through the fire there if you'd like. I've got to get off of the computer, Mother, as the demands here never seem to cease, but I hope you don't plan on sitting on any of the furniture. I shall check in with Professor Snape.

Draco.

My Little Dragon,

I shall be at Professor Lupin's residence until further notice. If you would like, we can arrange for a fire-chat later this evening or tomorrow? I miss you terribly and am very worried about you.

Love,
Mother

Severus,

Oh do tell Remus that I'm ever so grateful and on my way there now.

Thank you! Please let him know that he has saved me from the filth of the Muggle streets and I shall be forever in his debt.

Oh, Mrs Malfoy, how awful. I hope things turn out well now that you're with Professor Lupin. I've taken the liberty of sending a basket of goodies to Dogear Wyrde.

blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-19 05:26 am UTC

Miss Parkinson,

Thank you so very much for your support and the basket. It is very lovely and goes well with the drawing room here at Dogear Wryde which I have just taken the liberty of rearranging a smidgen. Professor Lupin shan't be here until later on this afternoon but I will alert him as to your kindness and the sweetes you have sent us.
