Colin Creevey here, reporting from Gryffindor Tower!!
Wow, it's great to be back, isn't it! I never thought I'd say this but it was just a drag being home over the break wondering how all the other Gryffindors were doing! I love my parents but they don't have any kind of email access so I kept having to go to the local library to check to see how Harry and the rest were doing! It was great spending time with Soblessa but I don't think she had as much fun as I did! --maybe because my mum can be a little clingy, I think--but don't worry, 'Lessa, I'm sure you know it doesn't run in the family!
We didn't do much for the hols--just dyed easter eggs--we spelled them iridescent, that was loads of fun, but somehow one of the spells must have gone off a bit because it accidentally spelled Soblessa's church dress metallic pink! I told her it was a great color on her but I don't think she believed me! And it's okay about the camera, Lessa--I know you didn't mean to drop it, I just wish we'd been able to take that picture of you with the giant kidney flower that matched your dress!
Gryffindor's been so much fun since we all got back! Ron's even let me finish a chess game without yelling once, and since Hermione's got S.P.E.W. up and running--well, she and Harry--she's been in better spirits too! I haven't had anything thrown at my head since last Wednesday! Oh, and speaking of S.P.E.W.--if you haven't gone and joined yet, what are you waiting for! Harry and I've already joined up! See!

She sent gloves and tarts for Malfoy, too, you know. He got them yesterday. They were good, though, weren't they?

Yeah, but yours were homemade AND they came with fresh jam! He didn't get fresh jam--I bet his mum made it just for you! They were great! I hope she stays with Professor Lupin for a while!!!

Well she hadn't found learned to bake them yet when she sent them to Malfoy. And you know she doesn't like me better. That's just stupid, Colin. I mean I know you don't like him at all and I guess you probably have your reasons but the whole time I was there I think she really only talked to me because she missed him. I mean, all we talked about was him. She's his mum, you know? And I hate it when you say stuff like this because it's not funny and it's not true.

I, for one, think needless cruelty is far more embarrassing to Gryffindor than anything else. If you like Harry Potter so much, maybe attacking people on such personal levels isn't the best way to make an impression.

Although I am very pleased that you enjoyed the biscuits, tarts, and jams that I sent along to Harry to show my appreciation for his hopsitality and kindess over holiday weekend, I do not appreciate you stating that I prefer him over my own son. That is simply a preposterous declaration and one which holds not an iota of merit. Draco is my son and the light of my life. No one could ever replace him nor would I wish to have someone do so.
Furthermore, it is none of your business as to how or why I am not currently at my family home. Also, speaking of my husband and child in an ill fashion is not something I take kindly to. Please refrain from such blasphemy in the future and do not presume to state where I am most happy at.
