Remus,

Have you finished with the book I lent you? I could use it back if you're completed it as I am in need of something heavy to banish to the other end of the villa right now.

Certainly.

I've heavier ones, if you're so inclined.

Though, why stop at a book? I hear anvils are "in" this season.

Would your poor owl be able to carry something of such magnitude?

I would not like to deprive you of yet another post owl; I know how difficult it is for you to keep them.

My dear Narcissa, that is what Shrinking Charms are for.

I know that you are on holiday at the moment, but should you be so inclined I find myself in need of some decorating advice. I seem to be completely hopeless at it. I would appreciate any help that you might be able to spare.

And who knows? Perhaps you could use the distraction. Perhaps we both could.

I nearly forgot about shrinking charms! You always were the wise one, Remus.

Holiday or no, I would be thrilled to converse with you on the finer points of decorum. You could come to the villa if you like in the late evening or, if Draco would not mind a bit of solitude for a while, I could apparate to you.

Perhaps, my lady, but unfortunately not wise enough, it would seem.

And I think that we should communicate through owl, for now. I would not want to interrupt your holiday with your family, and I'm afraid Apparating here would be a bit difficult as I've just finished casting a few very powerful protection spells around the flat. Call me paranoid, but I felt it was necessary.

We'll be in touch, Narcissa. My best to your son.

Owl correspondence is fine with me, or perhaps a firechat if you feel so inclined.

I shall pass along your well-wishes to Draco.
