Professor Snape, I realise it's impolite to try and contact you through the community, but it's very urgent, and you were not in your office when I went down to look for you. You see, sir, I've just lately realised a mistake I made with a potion I brewed out of class last year (you may recall, however, you may not), and while I've known about the mistake since I made it, I've only just now fully realised its consequences. Please let me know when I can come by and explain in further detail. Thank you.

Incidentally, the correct phrasing is "might not." Two points from Gryffindor for minor manhandling of the English language.
