Beginning this Saturday, I will be taking a leave of absence for an indefinite length of time. This is as much as I can disclose at the moment. Please, do not ask me any questions regarding my whereabouts and activities. It is not any of your concern.

Professor Rubeus Hagrid will graciously oversee Care of Magical Creatures until my return.

Harry, I would like to see you in my office as soon as possible.

Moony, I think this is a bad idea. You're not fit to go, and it's too easy to make mistakes when you're distracted. Please come see me (or we can firechat) when Harry leaves, if it's not too late.

Actually, do it anyway, no matter how late it is. You need some sense talked into you.

Sirius, it's not open to discussion. I was likely going to do it anyway, as it's really something that only I'm qualified for. Would you rather Albus send Tonks in my stead? We would likely get her back in a plastic baggie. I'll not risk it.

It'll be fine. I've dealt with these sorts before and they respond well to empathy, and being taken seriously. I doubt I'll be gone a fortnight, if that.

After I speak with Harry I'll come see you, but don't expect to talk me out of it. My mind's made up.
