Attn: Hogwarts.
To the staff and students of Hogwarts:

There are, as you know, no lessons during the coming week. Headmaster Dumbledore has asked me to inform you all that this is due to a little project called "Love Your Neighbour Week," designed to foster a spirit of brotherhood among the school's four houses. Beyond this, I can say little more, save that he told me that both students and staff will be working in tandem with fellows from other school houses so that something called "trust" will be developed.

He has also informed me that I am to be in charge of this endeavour.

My attempts to resign from the post, and then from my position at Hogwarts, were met with resistance. You may all be certain that if I am to suffer through this, you will suffer with me.

Love Your Neighbour Week will begin tomorrow morning at eight a.m. sharp, and anyone tardy to the Great Hall for breakfast will be punished. Have a lovely evening.

Truly, Dumbledore couldn't have put a more appropriate man in charge of this project.

Re:

My sources have reliably informed me that I do not have to start loving anyone until eight a.m. tomorrow. I recommend you keep this in mind tonight, Black.

Re:

Oh, does that mean that starting at eight tomorrow you'll be a good neighbour? I look forward to seeing this.

I look forward to seeing you be killed by an Acromantula someday, Black, but we can't all get what we want.

I am traumatised from professors swearing at me.

I am sensitive.

I do not think I can trust anyone in this state.

Re:

I do not think I care much, Bulstrode.

Go to bed. Perhaps things will look more trustworthy after a night of sleep. Make sure Malfoy is not locked in his trunk again.

I have told you everything I know, Patil. You will just have to wait until tomorrow morning like the rest of us to find out more.

Although I find that this idea is indeed intriguing, perhaps it would be important for the children and professors to learn to love themselves first. After all, if one is not satisfied and attuned with themselves, how can they truly open up to accepting the company of others, let alone trust them?

Re:

Indeed, Narcissa. Indeed. A most valid point. I shall tell Dumbledore and see if we can get the whole thing called off straightaway.

Re:

As well you should, Severus! By overlooking such an important matter, the entire purpose of this project becomes null and void.

You have used that word a tiresome amount this morning, MacMillan. No one is impressed by your vocabulary. Twenty points from Hufflepuff.
