Current mood:Not slightly annoyed.

Attn.
You may have noticed that you have acquired objects during the night. You will be thrilled to know that these objects are the prized possessions of your partners in Love Your Neighbour Week. Similarly, they have your own prized possession. I have just been to the headmaster. We each have until dinner to find out who our newly acquired possessions belong to; otherwise, our own prized possessions shall go up in smoke.

I suggest you start early.

Professor, are we allowed to utilise the community to find out who has our possessions?

Go right ahead, Granger. You won't see me stopping you.

Hermione, do you believe in God?

Obviously Not when I'm stuck holding a stupid Bible, Professor!

WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON, MINNIE?

Macmillan. Despite my forced, voluntary participation in Love Your Neighbour Week, I am still a professor.

Macmillan, are you a God-fearing Man?

Is that a threat?

Curiosity! Time is wasting! jUST ANSWER THE QUESTION, mACMILLAN.

(parent)
erniemacmillan @ 2004-02-09 06:33 am UTC

Well I reckon so. I mean, I'm not particularly religious or anything like that, but I believe in God at all. I don't think about it all that much.

Are you an elephant-fearing woman?

(parent)
divineparvati @ 2004-02-09 06:37 am UTC

That has nothing to do With anything! Of course I'm not. Hufflepuffs.

Er, Professor McGonagall, what are we supposed to do if we don't know what our prized possession is? Are we supposed to look and see what we're missing?

scotchtartan @ 2004-02-09 06:37 am UTC

Somehow, Potter, I don't believe the intent is to spend the day trying to puzzle out what your own prized possession is. If you would in fact wish to spend the day hunting for what you are missing rather than your partner--well, then, I do not blame you.

Okay. Thanks, Professor.

I don't think anything of mine is missing T_T

Does that mean I don't get to play? :c :c :c :c ;_;

scotchtartan @ 2004-02-09 06:38 am UTC

It means you do not know what you are missing, Brown. What do you have?

potions_master @ 2004-02-09 06:56 am UTC

ANIMALS SHOULD NOT BE PERMITTED TO BE CONSIDERED AS FAIR GAME FOR THIS ASININE EXERCISE. IT IS INTOLERABLE CRUELTY. I INSIST ON HAVING LILITOU BACK AT ONCE. YOU ARE THE DEPUTY HEADMASTER, TALK TO THE MAN, MINERVA.

SIRIUS BLACK HAS HER, MINERVA, HE IS A DOG

You know, Professor, I really quite agree.

Are you forgetting, Severus, that I am also a cat? Do not for a moment believe that I consider animals to be possessions!

I am delighted to hear it, Minerva. NOW DO SOMETHING.

Were I able to do something about the matter, I would also see to having my family heirloom returned. Severus: suck it up.

Re:

Oh, for God's sake, Snape. Calm down. I have no immediate plans to transform and have her for breakfast. By all means see if you can get her back, though. Why couldn't your most prized possession have been a jar of glistening gravel or something?

What do you have of mine? I couldn't find anything missing.

A Christmas card, Black. Signed by the person you obviously love most in all the world.

Now, I wonder who that could be...?

Re:

Oh. Just remember that any harm you do to it reflects on your cat. And since until we can get this straightened out I have to live with the thing, you never answered me: what does she eat because she is still meowing.

Never mind, I'll just go to Hagrid.

Yeah. I know. I'm really, really sorry. But it could be worse, if, say, you were the sort of person to write those really long newsy or emotional sorts of Christmas cards.

Come see me when things have calmed down a bit, please?

I have less than no interest in touching anything of yours, or in fact of any person too stupid to know his own most prized possession.
