Poppy gave me some kind of tea so I'm not shaking like I was before.

I want you all to know how Remus died. He died saving my life. He saved Harry's life too. Lucius Malfoy is dead. Remus killed him. Malfoy tried to curse Harry, but Remus saw it and got out his walking-stick that I had got him on our anniversary. It had a sword in it because I thought it was cool. We both saw Lucius pull his wand out of his cane and go after Harry, and Remus got there first because I was Padfoot and I was fighting Wormtail. I bit off his tail before he got away. Then Remus pulled his sword out and he ran Lucius through with it. He got him where his heart would have been. He stood over him and made sure it went through all the way. I've never seen Remus look like that. He said he was keeping his promise and that this was for James and Lily and Harry and him and me and Alice and Frank and Neville and the Weasleys and Snape and everyone that this evil had ever touched. Then he laughed but he was crying too because Remus never wanted to kill people even the ones who deserved it. Then I told Lucius he deserved it. I stood over him and I spit on him and told him to give the Devil my regards. I shouldn't have done that. Lucius was dying but he wasn't dead yet and all of a sudden he had his wand in his hand again. He pointed it at me. Then all I saw was Remus and then I heard Lucius say the words and there was green light and then Remus fell. I carried him out. I couldn't help Harry anymore so I helped Remus even though he was dead because he still needed help. I carried him to the hospital wing and I sat with him and I told him some things I thought he needed to know. I should have said them all sooner but we thought we had more later than we did. It should have been me but Remus saved me. He was always saving me but I don't think he ever knew it. James said Remus was always the bravest one of us by just getting up every morning and he was right.

He was always worried about living forever because he didn't want to outlive us.

I wanted you all to know what happened. Harry's awake now. I told him about Remus and he said we have to go Amsterdam like we were going to. He kept saying it over and over that we have to go to the Jordaan in Amsterdam and then he said he wanted to see him and then he started to cry and I don't think I can write in here anymore right now
