Current mood:enraged

I feel that it is my duty to announce that I have finally acquiesced to give something to the common people by choosing a date to the Bleu Ball. After much careful consideration, I have gone through a difficult selection process. With so many girls inviting me, it's hard to choose.

Of course, it's not easy being the heartbreaker all the time. But someone has to do it.

So, without further ado, I'd just like to say that I will once again be allowing Pansy Parkinson the pleasure of arriving on my arm. Of course, it's a natural choice, seeing as she's absolutely enamoured with me and I've known her for years. We even went on a date once when we were children, though of course it wasn't quite so formal. And don't let's forget the fact that her family's blood is nearly as pure as mine.

It must be simply awful for some people in this school, going with people they don't even know, because they couldn't find another date. Naturally, I consider Pansy to be one of the prettiest girls in school. Her eyes are so outlined. That's hard to come by.

So, I have to insist that everyone stops asking me. Lord, do these girls really think they're the first to ask?

I have picked my date. I'm sure you'll have to control yourselves not to be jealous. But then again, I'm sure everyone is quite used to that.

Halleluia

YES!
I am deeply honored. Not that I didn't think it would happen this way anyhow, But it simply took so long for you to make up your mind.
Post coming, please help me pick the dress? This goes for all of the peons who read this too...I think that the masses deserve a little ray of pure burning sunlight in their bleak, ignorant world. I shall post poctures and write a poem to mark the occasion.
Eternally in Pure Blood,
Mistress Pansilya, Princess of Angsty Darqueness (who has, oh, let's see...a date to the dance now. Peons.)

Re: Halleluia

Surely you don't think I'd allow you to pick your dress out on your own, do you? After all - I have a reputation to keep up with, here.

So happy, sweet boy, that you have this all sorted. And what is the latest news on the robes?

Not to question your tastes, dearest, but while it's been years since I've seen this Parkinson girl, I seem to remember a sly, mousy little thing with lots of sparkly strawberry lip gloss and a fondness for purple and unicorns. I imagine her mother will be choosing her robes, and you may want to pass on a gentle hint that Laura Ashley has never been in fashion. Not among the proper wizarding circles, in any event.

Or has her fashion taste improved since then? I am expecting you to owl me a nice long scroll with all the particulars. And can I understand this to mean that you have taken care of your promise to your Father and I?

Re:

Lord, Mother, she certainly isn't going to be wearing anything adorned with strawberries or violet.

AND YES, I WILL DO WHAT YOU BLOODY ASKED ME TO DO! Good lord, Mother, do you really think I could last so long in a madhouse like this if I wasn't going to keep my promise?
