Current mood: anxious

I have consulted the oracles this morning and I have been informed of a Fate Most Terrible! Two names were spelled on my Ouija Board. Two Doomed Names. No..erm..Three. Three Doomed Names.

Severus Snape! You are meddling in things which not ought to be meddled in! You will suffer from a Fate Most Uncomfortable. Look to your Inner Darkness for your answer!

Ernie Macmillan! Look towards the Serpent's Den! There is an imposter! You will be implicated in a scheme! *moans* Oh, much suffering you will have! Beware!

Ronald Weasley! You will find yourself implicated in numerous crimes and falsehoods! You are breaking the law, young man! You will surely pay seven times the crimes you are commiting! Look to yourself! Look to the constellation Draconis for your solution! For No One Can Save You!!

The Fates have spoken!

I knew it!! It is all DRACO bloody Malfoy's fault!

You're absolutely right, Weasley. How silly it was of me to encourage you to set your arms on fire. I just thought it would be a clever idea. And I really never should have sent that dragon as a gift. What ever was I thinking? Oh, and I know I shouldn't have tried to play matchmaker with you and Granger, but what can I say? I just enjoy spreading joy to others.

That was sarcasm, by the way, a talent you clearly aren't familiar with. Imbecile.

Re:

If you can blame everything on Harry then I can blame everything on you, stupid git!

er...Professor? Are you sure that's all you saw? Totally certain there wasn't a thing about Terry Boot meeting an untimely end?

Just checking....

sibyllsays @ 2002-09-10 06:54 am UTC

Do not mock the Fates, Dean Thomas! However, *glare* I do believe that you may need to buck up on your History of Magic essays. I have foreseen some PROBLEMS that you may have with your marks with that class.

As for Mr Boot, I see a very interesting future, full of suspense and intrigue.

Well, that was really a stretch, wasn't it? Especially the bit about Ron, when it's ALREADY come out that he had a dragon and that rules were broken.

I didn't realize that predicting the past could be construed as divination. Hrrmph.

seamus_f @ 2002-09-10 10:53 am UTC
Honestly.

Thanks for encouraging MacMillan, Professor. I'm sure that's really going to help.

It might be more useful if rather than predicting our deaths (really, we're all going to die, aren't we?) you predicted, say, our love lives.

Knowing when you're going to die isn't that helpful, but if you know when you're going to get sex, at least you can make sure you've showered.

Re: Honestly.

*coughs* Well, um...we can talk about that....

Good grief, Sibyll. What is it now?

hannahabbott @ 2002-09-12 08:43 pm UTC

Great. Encouragement for both Ernie and Ron. Yikes.

Although, when you think about it, Ernie was saying just a couple of days ago there was going to be friction between several of the houses...he could have meant Justin and Ron...

But that does not make it right!

Good predicting, Professor. - Hannah
