perfectprefect: No subject.

I have decided to slip out of the Burrow now while most are sleeping.

I typically enjoy awaking at 0400; however, the fact of the matter is that George and Frederick spent the entirety of last evening hatching some sort of object that left me, their roommate, unable to sleep. It is during times like these when the entire family is in the Burrow that I realise that my presence is not, in fact, needed. I have always hoped that I contributed a bit of something to the holidays with the results of my thirst for knowledge. If nothing else I hope that I provide some element of educational interest to my family. Family is, of course, of the utmost importance to me; however, I hesitate to say that I have trouble fitting in often.

I have been giving my brother Ronald what is referred to as The Silent Treatment as he made it quite evident that my presence was not desired by him. It becomes rapidly clear that the majority of my family prefers me in miniscule doses, however, and that it would be for the best if I did not bother them with the tedium of my life. I do not understand what it is exactly that I have done to call for Cho Chang's hatred; yet, it seems that she would prefer it if I did not speak to her. Yesterday I believe the family called for an egg hunt on broomsticks. I do not know much about it, as I was not invited. Rather, I believe they assumed I would not wish to participate. I am not certain whether or not I would have, but it is no use dwelling upon it.

I will be returning to my flat and I hope to get in a fine day of work at the Ministry of Magic. I feel I have turned a new leaf.

Oh Percy!

I don't hate you! Its just that I don't really think that talking to a girl for an hour about the varying weights of parchment is really a good way to chat you know? You're a very nice fellow and of course Ginny's brother and I think you're all right, maybe you could just learn to lighten up a little bit?

Sorry we didn't ask you to play during the egg hunt but you were reading and you looked cross so we left you alone!

I'm sorry you left without a proper goodbye so I will say goodbye and that it really was lovely meeting you. Happy Easter Percy!

While I understand that it is not the choice of conversation for all, I feel that it may have been more prudent to tell me this to my face rather than joining in a session of mocking me with my brothers behind my back.

Just because you use big words doesn't mean mum isn't going to kill you, you know. And I think you'll make things easier for all of us if you come home and steal dad's staples!
