Current mood:indifferent
Current music:Lupin's thunderous snores

Headlong through your paper sky.
At last, it is quiet.

A whinging Lupin has finally gone to sleep, no doubt aided by the draught that I took upon myself to introduce into his tea. Had he known about it I might be rather damaged at the moment, but I have a marked sense of stealth. He never saw it coming. It was less for him than for me, as I simply could not take another hour of his moaning about the missing Potter brat. How anyone could become so attached to the little whelp remains something better left to the Department of Mysteries.

This is a pathetic excuse for a dwelling. It is bare save for an armchair, a table that has seen far better days, and two extremely questionable chairs. Lupin did have the foresight to acquire a bed, though I cannot say much for it. It is quite small and unacceptable for a grown man. The only other forms of decor are the empty take-away boxes of dubious age and origins. Lilitou has elected to perch upon one in anticipation of it sprouting legs and attempting an escape. At least my familiar looks no worse for wear for having been in Lupin's obviously lackluster company, and she seems pleased to see me. I shall be taking her with me on my last journey before returning to Hogwarts for the start of term.

Unfortunately Lupin cannot be trusted to look after himself and so in exasperation I shall remain in this hovel until he agrees to remove his head from where it has become lodged in his fundament and cease behaving like a blasted fishwife. At least we now know from where Potter inherited his tendency toward the melodramatic. If it were up to me I would install the whole lot into St Mungo's and be done with it. Alas, I am merely a minion in the Greater Cause, which I believe is to annihilate the fragile remnants of my sanity. Truly, only madness would have brought me here to this place. I am not well at all.

Lupin is stirring. I suppose I must go and see to him, preferably using something very large, very heavy and very, very blunt.
