Current mood:annoyed
Current music:endless paranormal wailing

And so it begins...
I have been forced to return to Hogwarts ahead of schedule, to oversee the final repairs made to the dungeons following last term's rather disquieting events. My stores have been replenished and cauldrons repaired, and my office returned to its original state. I do not normally approve of the use of house-elves to perform such a task, as I find them uncouth and lacking an eye for asthetics, however in this case I find their work to be satisfactory. I have already begun to return my books and phials to their rightful places in my office.

I would also report a new ghost roaming the dungeon corridors. I am not familiar with it, though it appears to be a child. I may go in search of the Bloody Baron and inquire further as to the origins of this most recent resident. Also, I shall request that he make the infernal whelp cease its infernal yowling. I realise that being supernaturally-bound for all eternity to this place would cause anyone a most unbearable posthumous agony, but I do not need to hear about it every night.

Lupin, that great oaf Hagrid has asked me to inform you that your "beasties" have been returned successfully to your Menagerie. Also as your secretary, I bear a message from the Headmaster that he would like a word with you upon your return to the school at the week end. Apparently, I have nothing better to do than to be the world's owl.

An encounter with Black in the Great Hall has left me with some indigestion. I shall now take my tea, feed Lilitou and retire for the evening.

Begone.

Thanks very much, Severus. I wonder what Albus is after now?

Hope you're settling yourself in nicely. I will see you at the Feast?

I dare not speculate as to how the man's mind works.

And you say that as if I have a choice in the matter.

Yes, you will see me at the Feast.

There are always choices, Severus.

Actually, I'll be in on Sunday. Are you free for tea?

I suppose.

If I must.

Calm yourself, Severus. You're making a spectacle.

The prospect of such excitement as tea with the likes of you has me unable to contain myself. I fear the anticipation may be too much for me.

Alas, I have soiled my robes.

Ha ha ha.

I try.

I shall suffer you on Sunday then. And do not forget my quills. I require them.

As you wish.
