Attention, Quidditch team.
Being as I just took care to wake you all up twenty-two minutes ago, I'll expect you're awake and ready to see this message.
I've made certain all of your uniforms are entirely pieced together so I don't want to see any makeshift shinguards made from pillows. Also, your broomsticks are all IN YOUR DORMITORIES so don't tell me you've lost yours.
As it stands, Ravenclaw is at 320 points and we're at 220. Of course, considering we've only played one match, this is hardly unacceptable. However, if Ravenclaw wins, we're out of the running for the Quidditch Cup. Since this isn't going to happen, I won't dwell. Gryffindor is currently at 440 points. Therefore, in order to put us at decent standing prior to next week's match against Gryffindor, I can't catch the Snitch today until we've 60 or 70 points. Bysmal, Pritchard, Yellowback, this means you.
Since you'll be doing most of the work, Millicent, I've also left breakfast for you on the table by your bed. I expect you to eat all of it. Spinach is high in some sort of food process that gives you strength, or so I've heard, and egg yolks in a tumbler are evidently some sort of training nourishment. Also, that milk is high in calcium and the sausage is certainly not going to hurt. I want you in prime condition by noon. Feel free to do some weight-lifting. I'm certain Crabbe won't mind if you bench press him.
As for the rest of you, I expect you in the changing rooms at half ten to go over strategies. Until then, drink your sodding orange juice and have a non-strenuous morning.

I refuse to consume a meal large enough for a small country at 5 o'clock in the morning.
Even if it came with a flower in a vase.
It is 5 o'clock in the morning.

Brunch is at ten. Lunch is in the changing rooms. I suggest you eat now or else you'll have to eat them all at once.

Did you fail to inform me that we are using "Throwing up on players of the opposing team" as our strategy?

What part of 'I expect you to be in prime condition' did you not understand?

If you are planning to watch me eat, I suggest you make yourself useful and butter my toast.

potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 02:57 am UTC |
It took me an hour to make that. EAT IT BEFORE IT GETS COLD.
(parent) petitemillicent @ 2003-06-07 03:00 am UTC Re: |
I think I want to make you warm it up five times before I eat it.
M. B.
potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 03:01 am UTC |
I'm not warming anything up. You'll eat it cold, then, and I hope you learn a thing or two about appreciation then.

Goyle ate my flower.
My breakfast is ruined.
Whatever shall I do.

potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 03:07 am UTC |
Well done, Millicent. Now someone else is going to eat it. I'm not making two breakfasts. If that's how you feel, you can just go hungry. After all, I thought you might just like a little nourishment before you spent the entirety of the day doing the majority of the work, but silly me. I'll just go give it to this witch called Miranda instead, as I'm sure she'd be more than happy to fill in when you fall off your broom due to lack of nourishment.

I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU STOP OVERESTIMATING THE SIZE OF MY MOUTH.

Why, nobody is looking.
I notice you are not eating.
M. B.
potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 04:07 am UTC |
I have been up for over an hour. I don't have time to eat.
(parent) petitemillicent @ 2003-06-07 04:09 am UTC Re: |
Well then, do not let me keep you from the daunting task of staring at my breakfast.
M. B.
potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 02:56 am UTC |
Otherwise you'll be behind by the time I get lunch to you.
(parent) petitemillicent @ 2003-06-07 02:58 am UTC Re: |
It is rather redundant to read out your comments in my ear loudly when it is evident that I am able to read.
M. B.
potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 02:59 am UTC |
Evidently you are not. The flower is going to wilt soon, and then my entire breakfast will be ruined!

Violence is uncalled for in the morning, Draco.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Besides, you'll need your strength if you're going to lift weights.
(parent) petitemillicent @ 2003-06-07 03:16 am UTC Re: |
Guess who I am using to lift weights with.

potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 03:19 am UTC |
My work is never done. This is uncalled for. I am only one person. I cannot be in six places at once.
(parent)la_pensee @ 2003-06-07 04:30 am UTC |
Draco, darling, I would wish you luck on the game today but with your skill I know you shan't need it.
potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 04:33 am UTC |
Of course not. Regardless, the sentiment does not go unappreciated.
(parent)la_pensee @ 2003-06-07 04:38 am UTC |
Did I tell you how handsome you look today? But then I am certain this is always the truth and perhaps I do not need to state the obvious!
(parent)potterstinks @ 2003-06-07 04:43 am UTC |
Actually, you didn't. It's always enjoyable to hear.
