Evidently Sally-Anne Perks intends to come to Wiltshire for my birthday party next month, which should be interesting given that she seems to have a rather large obsession with Pansy. If it weren't obvious, I've been planning the celebration of my birthday recently, as well as sending out invitations. Don't worry if you didn't receive one, as it certainly wasn't a mistake.
I don't see why anyone's fussing over the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff coming up at the weekend, as Hufflepuff lost their last match to Gryffindor due to Finch-Fletchley sneezing. Do you really imagine this term's match will be any more exciting? If so, I imagine you must be in Hufflepuff yourself. I myself shall likely spend the day in Hogsmeade, assuming I can acquire a pass from Professor Snape. I've been invited to lunch with Mr Perks, as I think he feels I've some sort of sinister agenda aimed at Sally-Anne. Either that or he intends to marry us off. Regardless, Father says one shouldn't reject these sort of invitations, so I am looking forward to it.
The last time I was in Hogsmeade, I spotted Peter Weasley going into Gladrags through the back. Naturally I followed him, since I assumed he was purchasing something embarrassing with his meagre salary, but he locked the door. I thought only the Minister had skeleton keys. I don't see why one of the bottom-feeders should have one, which leads me to believe he stole it. It wouldn't surprise me, as we all know how the poor do fantasise about owning better things. I'm not entirely certain what would get out of raiding Gladrags, of all places, but then, I'm not a Weasley.
Last evening James Underwood went running through the Slytherin common room in his dressing gown screaming that he was going to get no Transfiguration O.W.L.s, so I imagine the season has begun. When we had our O.W.L.s, Nott took apart and re-assembled the entire tail of a broomstick because it had one loose twig, so I can hardly wait to see what he shall do in the face of N.E.W.T.s. I think I'll leave my broomstick close at hand, as one of the twigs is shorter than the others and I wouldn't mind having Nott fix it for me.
Millicent's birthday passed recently, and it was Pansy's idea to invite Bones to our celebration. I do think that Bones looks even worse with black hair, but I suppose Millicent was satisfied nonetheless.

You grow more astute with each passing day, don't you?

You noticed.
I am touched.
And also in the library.

Are you trying to imply that you'd like me to come to the library? It's so difficult to tell with you.
