Mr. Malfoy,
It has come to my attention that you have been, according to certain Gryffindors, following certain other Gryffindors around in a manner most unusal and bordering on obsessive.
I must say that I am quite alarmed at this news and wish to hear your thoughts on the subject. Do you indeed regularly make a habit of following Mr. Potter around the castle? If so, I can't think what you wish to accomplish. It seems that Mr. Potter has been frequently complaining about your "stalking" him or some such thing.
If you cannot offer up a proper explanation for your behaviour, I suggest that you and I have a little chat with Professor Snape. It is my understanding that your duties as a prefect are to protect your classmates, not to harrass them.

Complaining to the Arithmancy professor that I'm following you? Please, I have much better things to do than that. I see now you're just lying to professors in order to get everyone else detention. Never satisfied with anything, are you? Everyone in this school but me's got a bloody detention because of you. Here I thought, perhaps, you had the slightest intelligence to realise that if I got a detention because of you, you'd regret that. And yet! Really, Potter, it's quite touching to know you're so bloody paranoid that you see me at every corner, but this is just uncalled for. You're just lucky I've not got another detention because of you.

I don't know what you're talking about Malfoy. I don't even take Arithmancy. Why would I talk to Professor Vector about you? And I'm not the only person in Gryffindor. There are alot of people in Gryffindor if you didn't notice, and maybe they're just complaining about you. You really haven't made alot of friends, you know, so I don't know why you think I'm the only Gryffindor who has any reason to complain about you. Did you ever think maybe someone else talked to her because THEY noticed you doing it?
