It's been a most interesting day. Thanks to Professor Sinistra (whom Draco, in a most gratifying display of courage, asked out on a date) I have just found out that Narcissa, along with developing pimples, and, I suspect, forgetting to bleach her moustache, has been sending biscuits and other treats to Draco, despite my specific orders that she withhold all contact for two weeks. She has disobeyed me. I intend to make the full extent of my displeasure quite clear to her. No more Faberge eggs for her, and certainly my liquor bills will be non-existent. Enjoy the wonderful world of polyester, my dearest. I do hope you find the martinis out in the real world to your liking.

Her partner in crime and ringworm has been one Remus Lupin, which surprises me, as Sirius does not usually go for the pussywhipped type.

Remus, if you want her, you can have her.

First of all, I have no mustache. Your attempts at jests are both pitiful and trite. I suggest you quite while you are 'ahead'.

Secondly, I would not have had to 'disobey' you had you not been so completely obstinate and uncaring toward both myself and our son.

Thirdly, I am quite put out with you at the moment, dearest. Do be a darling and keep the Fabere eggs for yourself. I never liked them. I merely pretended I did so you would not pull your 'cross' face and display that horrifically purple bluging vein in your forhead that is most unattractive.

Remus is not a 'partner in crime.' He was merely helping me out because I was so very distraught and he CARES about my feelings unlike SOME people.

How dare you threaten to take away my finances.

You do remember the day I took you to wife, don't you? The day you promised to love, honor, and obey me. You have disobeyed a direct order, Narcissa Peltier, and one that I issued for a very good reason. I will not tolerate Draco's lack of respect or responsibilty. Your coddling him is not going to make a man out of him, and while you are under my roof, eating my food and spending my money, you will abide by my rules.

Have I made my position on the matter sufficiently clear?

I happen to remember that day quite clearly. Thinking back, I surely must have been overcome by how stunning my gown was and taken with the shimmering of the light upon the Austrian crystals in my gown to notice that I was told I had to promise to obey you. Shiny things do distract me, you do remember.

I have told you from the very beginning of all of this that I did not approve of your form of punishment for Draco. He has never shown me disrespect and I do believe that he acts most responsibly a good lot more than the likes of you.

Perhaps I ought to reconsider living under your roof, etc as I do not wish to follow any other ridiculous rulings about how I may or may not treat my son.
