Well, Narcissa has taken it upon herself to move out of the Manor. I simply demanded that she honor her marriage vows but she was quite intent upon leaving. I can't help but wonder if this is some sort of early menopause, although, when I think about it, she certainly is old enough to begin exhibiting symptoms. I took the liberty of sending all of her things over to Dogeared Weirdness, or whatever the name of the doghouse is. I also sent Dacey, just to help Narcissa out a bit. Sirius seemed a bit taken aback at the sheer volume of Narcissa's possessions, but she has never been one to do without. She told me once she had a recurring nightmare in which she was forced to go camping and sleep on the ground, with not even a mirror to apply her makeup. Horrors, indeed.
Draco has taken up with the Parkinson girl again, and, while I do not approve, her behavior since her return to Hogwarts cannot be faulted. Draco himself seems to be doing just fine. He's got his mummy to spoil him. Becoming a man does not seem to be a priority to him, so I will allow Miss Parkinson to find that out in her own time.
The wedding plans seem to be progressing nicely. I understand that Remus' latest quandary is whether to decorate the house in blush or bashful. I do hope he listens to Narcissa. She does have impeccable taste.
The Weasleys have repaid us for the cost of Draco's owl. Where they got the money, I hesitate to speculate, but I do find myself wondering if there's a charge for what Virginia used to give for free.
I must go. I am redecorating Narcissa's wing in Danish Modern and the decorators are here. Narcissa does not understand my liking for Danish Modern, nor can I myself explain it, but it's my wing now to do with as I please.

Draco is fine but I believe he would appreciate hearing from His Father during holiday. Far be it from me to order you as to what to do. I am merely stating out fact.
You forgot the part of my nightmare where I have the unfortunate luck to be wearing flannel and boots and have brambles in my hair. Thank you so very much for bringing that back. It only took seven months of visits with Dr. Fiorello to rid me of that ghastly dream and now I just know I shall be having it again.

I'll thank you to cease the defamatory comments about the Weasley family, Malfoy. As if being an inbred pureblood is anything to crow about.
purestblood @ 2003-04-20 12:41 pm UTC Re: |
Why don't you concentrate on your own life, rather than worrying about the Weasleys? I have no doubt they can take care of themselves. Potter is supposed to be the savior of the wizarding world, not you.
purestblood @ 2003-04-20 01:53 pm UTC Re: |
Why don't you spend less time worrying about others and more time worrying about Sirius? If he was getting what he needed from you he wouldn't be looking elsewhere, I daresay.
lupercus @ 2003-04-20 02:21 pm UTC |
I notice he didn't leap to your recent offer of asylum, Malfoy. Perhaps he's tired of getting what everyone else has already had.
purestblood @ 2003-04-20 02:24 pm UTC Re: |
Perhaps he's tired of getting what everyone else has already had.
Then why, pray tell, is he marrying you?
lupercus @ 2003-04-20 02:39 pm UTC |
For love, Malfoy. Most people marry for that, rather than to secure someone's eternal subserviance.
Of course, if you knew that, you'd probably still have a wife.
purestblood @ 2003-04-20 03:23 pm UTC Re: |
I know you want to watch. Sirius told me all about how you just love to watch....
lupercus @ 2003-04-20 07:27 pm UTC |
The only action I ever want to see from you Malfoy is the kind that comes courtesy of a Dementor.
purestblood @ 2003-04-20 07:49 pm UTC |
Remus, Remus, Remus. Go play with your swatches. I'm busy now.
(parent)blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-20 08:00 pm UTC |
Lucius that is QUITE enough.
Remus, do just ignore him. You are only encouraging him by responding in an upset manner.

You're right, Narcissa, of course.
Did too, Your Mangitude.
purestblood @ 2003-04-20 09:55 pm UTC Re: |
You're right, Narcissa, of course. I have to say, I don't believe I've ever seen this side of you, my love.
Did too, Your Mangitude.
blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-21 06:39 am UTC |
Of course I am right. You have never seen this side of me before because I have never seen you this way either - behaving so childishly. And there you go on about my son not being a proper, dignified Malfoy whilst you behave like an impetulant child. Do not dare refer to me as 'my love' and think it will soften my resolve, Lucius Malfoy. It may have worked in the past but I- I've been reading motivational books by Hera Peligroso and I shan't STAND for it any longer.

purestblood @ 2003-04-21 06:52 am UTC Re: |
As you wish, Narcissa. You alone know what you need at this time.
However, this has all brought quite a glow to your eyes. Quite stunning, really.
And look at my comments. Go ahead. You'll note that Everyone's Favorite Self-Cannibal started it all.
blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-21 06:58 am UTC |
You certainly are right in saying that I know what I need amid these current circumstances.
Perhaps Remus may have commented first but he would not have done so had you not grieviously offended him in your post.

purestblood @ 2003-04-21 07:01 am UTC Re: |
Perhaps you are right.
I am so glad that Remus has replaced me in your affections.
blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-21 07:04 am UTC |
Remus has always had a place in my affections as have you. He has not 'replaced' you in any means. If I didn't know any better, Lucius, I would say that you were a bit envious.
Narcissa
purestblood @ 2003-04-21 07:17 am UTC Re: |
If you'll read my post, darling, the only reference I made to Remus was to his current dilemma between the use of blush or bashful.
blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-21 07:24 am UTC |
That much is true but other things you talked about (the Weasleys in particular) upset him. I myself do not think too highly of that brood but I do have to admit that perhaps you were a bit harsh.
Narcissa
purestblood @ 2003-04-21 07:29 am UTC Re: |
Merely idle speculation, my dear. I note that you've never found my earlier comments re. the Weasleys too "harsh". The wolf fur is rubbing off on you, it would appear.
(parent)blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-21 07:34 am UTC |
I have already stated that I did not know what you are talking about. Why do you insist on engaging in these circular, pointless conversations?
(parent) purestblood @ 2003-04-21 07:00 am UTC Re: |
Yes, darling, really. There's a flush to your cheeks that I haven't seen for a long time.
(parent)blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-21 07:06 am UTC |
I think it is on account of the new, improved rogue by Bobbi Brown in Bashful and Beautiful.

Whatever it is, love, it seems to be working. I daresay you might be able to skip your quarterly facial in Switzerland.
(parent)blondenarcissa @ 2003-04-21 07:25 am UTC |
I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing.
And you're doing it again, Lucius! Stop, I say!
purestblood @ 2003-04-21 07:31 am UTC Re: |
Very well. I will respect your need for "space" and leave you be.
(parent)la_pensee @ 2003-04-20 01:49 pm UTC |
Mr Malfoy,
I appreciate your concern, but I doubt I'll have anything to worry about as Draco has taken care of me before and knows what I like.
Sincerely,
Pansy Parkinson
purestblood @ 2003-04-20 01:56 pm UTC Re: |
Then, by all means, enjoy him, Miss Parkinson.
I must say, you are growing into a very lovely young woman. Draco could do far, far worse.
Lucius Malfoy
la_pensee @ 2003-04-20 02:08 pm UTC |
Oh, he definitely could do worse, Mr Malfoy. It's just nice to know that after dating all those wretched girls, he realised he still liked me best. I knew he'd come around.
