I find myself extraordinarily busy, as I have been out of the country since just after our annual gala at the Manor. This year we did have a chimera, but, due to an unfortunate suggestion by the party planner Narcissa hired as an assitant, we are now renowned for new and unusual forms of house-elf treatment. I *told* the poncy git to leave my suits of armor alone, but I suppose selective hearing is something one learns early in the trailer park. I knew we were in trouble the moment I met him--Dame Hexna is not a good look for anyone, with the possible exception of Professor Trelawney.
My colleagues and I are busily formulating new strategies, and I am quite pleased with them. I look forward to the execution thereof and of course, the results. It is a heavy responsibility but one that I accept as my due.
I have no idea what is going on with Severus--he seems to be going through menopause but, unless I'm remembering my anatomy incorrectly (and Severus's anatomy has some rather memorable features if memory serves, including a birthmark on his belly in the shape of Florida that points right to Cuba) this is patently impossible. Perhaps he has simply snapped under the strain but he, and others of his ilk, should take heart. Such strains will soon be significantly lessened.

We shall certainly not hire that man next year, Lucius. Do not concern yourself with such things when you have so many more important matters to focus on right now. I've taken the liberty of sending him a Howler and rounding up the support of some of our friends. I do not think that he shall be able to show his face in polite society again.
