back to work
For the record, Kenmare Kestrals. However, I am superstitious, and everyone knows that they get an early lead and then collapse in the late season, so I don't want to hear about it. (That means you, potterstinks. And you as well, just_harry and knight_to_h3.) Good thing my other two roommates don't talk much about Quidditch. Nodding and smiling about football has worked for six years so far . . .
Speaking of roommates, Neville hasn't been sleeping well lately but this morning we couldn't wake him up (and believe me, Ron has learned many horrible ways to wake someone up), so we brought him down here to Madame Pomfrey. Always-observant Dean noticed a cup by the bed and brought it down with us--seems Neville began brewing his own sleeping potion after Pomfrey cut him off. This strikes me as an unwise move. Believe me, it is never a good idea to go against her wishes.
Never.
Really, never. Trust me.
Meanwhile, despite my best efforts I am still being stonewalled by Dean about whatever happened over the summer. Charlie insists that something must be up, and I have to agree. If anyone has any information, I can be easily found. You need not use your name. However, I can offer no reward at this time. Those vintage Playwizards tapped me out until November. (But oh, they were worth it!)

Bad idea to cross Pomfrey, true, but this is the most peaceful I've seen Neville look in quite some time. I'm almost glad we couldn't wake him. He's overdue a good, long lie-in.

Highly strung does not even begin to describe what he's been like lately.
I'm leaving here now so I'll see you at dinner, yeah?

Thank you, Professor. I appreciate that.
Hopefully we will both feel the same at the end of the season . . .
