Current mood: rushed
Current music:Weezerd - Undumb

Quidditch, Quidditch and more Quidditch is the topic today.
Which is nice and all, if you like that sort of thing.

The victory party is still going on in the common room, so I tried to sneak down to the library and get a bit of work done. Morgan decided to follow me, and passed me a note which Mandy reckons is just incredibly sweet. It's Weezerd song lyrics:

If you want to destroy my jumper,
I hope you have plans
to buy me a new jumper.

Then he went back to having an eating contest with the rest of the team. I can't tell if Cho was joining in or not, but sometimes I wish I could be a bit more like the rest of the House. Not that anyone is similar, really, but I suppose they find me a bit shirty for sitting here in the library with a candle instead of seeing how many cauldron cakes I can stuff in my mouth before I end up spitting them all out.

June is here at last, or at least the first few hours of it have crept into the evening. It makes me think of fireflies and bare feet and juice moustaches, but of course in reality it's actually books and parchment and thick blue socks and a Morgan Mullarkey who now won't shut up about the next Ravenclaw match already. He reckons Slytherin's got a professional Beater and that's why Professor McGonagall wants to talk to Draco Malfoy when he gets back from Cannes. I wouldn't be surprised, but the match against Slytherin is next week, so I wonder if it will be called off. I don't even care, but now I find myself curious.

I keep trying to research Theory of Experimental Magic in the Usage of Charms Through History, but I can't seem to make myself focus on the page. I must've read this passage about thirty times. I wonder if I'm burning out.

Congratulations, Ravenclaw.

I myself used to fear burnout in my studies. However, I often find that a recitation of the twelve uses of dragon's blood clears my head.

I prefer to go through the mnemonic charms for advanced transfiguration, as the pattern lulls me.
