How old are you?
I had a dream about someone the other night, and the dream lingered with me for several days like it was true. I had this urge to stalk the person all over the place, before I realised that would probably be in bad form. Have you ever had a dream about someone and then been ridiculously drawn to them? I'm sure this isn't just me, but it makes it very embarrassing to be around them, I think. Fortunately I am never around this person, but still.
Everyone's been acting very strange lately. Ernie Macmillan's had his nails varnished maroon, and Hermione Granger's are blue. Actually, both of those things are weird enough on their own. I got locked in the library the other night, but I don't think anyone actually noticed. Queenie Greengrass was wearing an Acciohead shirt the other day, and I don't think I even need to start listing the many ways in which that is irritating and wrong. She didn't even know who Thim Polke was. Why is she wearing an Acciohead shirt if she doesn't know anything about them? Because Nott likes Acciohead, and she wanted to impress him. How annoying.
Anyway. Professor Flitwick told me we're going on an excursion soon. I assume someone told the Head Boy, as well, but perhaps not. I've told Morgan Mullarkey, and I hope he can go, since it just isn't an excursion without Morgan 'Excursion' Mullarkey, as I am sure all of the sixth year will attest. Good old Excursion. What will he be up to next?
I really shouldn't be updating, because I still have four chapters to get through in my History of Magic text this evening. On the other hand I feel like I'll fall asleep if I don't take a break. I wonder if I'm burning out.

Is this your way of saying you've had a sexual dream about me?
turpinol @ 2004-03-25 11:15 pm UTC |
Depressing as you may find this, I have never had a sex dream about you.

Sorry, Frances, but I don't actually consider relief and depression to be the same emotion.

Um, do you think I'm bothered about my middle name? Because, you know, I really don't care.

Heard about excursions not being excursions without Morgan Mullarkey.

It's usually because it's half three in the morning or something.

Yeah, I bet she was planning on using our corpses as examples to all the other students warning against being in the library too late!! I wouldn't put it past her!

You know, when I said I was bored and wanted people to run amok I didn't mean all of this.
I think nearly everything that anyone does that is irritating and inexplicable is done to impress someone they want to have/are having sexual relations with. Even Malfoy.
Do you know where we are going on this excursion? Should I buy a new outfit? Not that I need an excuse, mind.
turpinol @ 2004-03-26 07:23 am UTC |
So wait a moment. Malfoy has just inexplicably irritated me. You cannot be suggesting the love that does not speak its name. It is verboten.
I don't really know any of the details. Alas, that being Head Girl does not give all that many perks. They seem perky enough, but then it turns out that they just make you more curious. I am sure accessories are in order, though.
seamus_f @ 2004-03-26 11:47 am UTC |
Accessories are always in order.
No, no. Just because he irritated you doesn't mean he meant to impress you. He likely thinks that doing whatever irritating thing he was doing will impress someone else. And remember, being impressive does not always mean something positive. Particularly in his case.
turpinol @ 2004-03-26 12:36 pm UTC |
Okay, now that you have used that icon I feel very intimidated. You have just told me accessories are in order with quite a bit of authority.
(parent)seamus_f @ 2004-03-26 08:14 pm UTC |
Is that icon intimidating? That isn't actually my icon of intimidation; this is. That is my icon of "don't I have the most fabulous piercing blue eyes?" However, I do feel strongly about the accessories.
So, are you going to invite me to this party, or can anyone come? (This by the way is my icon of, "I am a charming and intelligent fellow who would be an asset to any social gathering.")
turpinol @ 2004-03-26 08:21 pm UTC |
It looks a bit like, 'Well, you have disappointed me in every respect, but then again I sort of expected that of you, so just know that you cannot sink any lower. Pillock.' The previous, I mean.
If I am having a party, is it a surprise party? Because my birthday is in August and that seems inappropriate.
seamus_f @ 2004-03-26 08:34 pm UTC |
I'm going to have to start using that icon more sparingly. It's just that the mediwizard one often seems less than appropriate and MB often hassles me about Leigheas.
I had heard it was a Ravenclaw party, you know, an end to revision and all that. With all the fighting I think a party is in order anyway, but if the rumor is untrue. Though, it would do Harry a world of good to get drunk.
It would do me a world of good as well but that goes without saying.
turpinol @ 2004-03-26 08:48 pm UTC |
Um, apparently the party is a Ravenclaw party, because the party is here. Oh well. Do come, since you are a charming and intelligent fellow who would be an asset to any social gathering.
