Spent the night in the shed again. Getting too old for this. Thank heavens it's the weekend now, right, Molly?? Petal??? Love your scones. :-*

Night in the shed wasn't all that bad, though didn't get much sleep!!! Too busy playing! I mean. GETTING IMPORTANT RESEARCH DONE. Apparently microwaves are not, in face, very very tiny greetings. I've been doing a little bit of investigating into the matter on the WWW.

THAT. Is a microwave. HARD TO BELIEVE, I KNOW. Names can be deceiving, like spork, and sombrero. Sombrero doesn't even sound English!! But still! Every man and his dog knows it's a party trick made out of paper that you hit with a big stick until it falls down!! Not the point, Weasley, not the point. POINT IS.

Microwaves cook food. Absolutely fascinating. Percy, lad! You share a name with the genius who invented these cooking creations! I believe Scientist Percy LeBaron Spencer and I would get on like a house on fire if he was still around, God bless his soul!! .. hang on half a tic, good heavens. Seems the old coot's still alive, present tense and all that! Hang on. :O Trying to pull the wool over my eyes, it seems! That article there is from 1958!! CAN'T FOOL A WEASLEY THAT EASILY, PAL. I DO KNOW HOW TO READ, IT WOULD SEEM.

Doctor Spencer continued at Raytheon as a senior consultant until he died at the age of 76. At the time of his death, Dr. Spencer held 150 patents and was considered one of the world's leading experts in the field of microwave energy, despite his lack of a high school education (IGNORE THIS, CHILDREN).
On September 18, 1999, Dr. Percy LaBaron Spencer was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame and took his place in history alongside such great inventors as Thomas Edison, the Wright Brothers and George Washington Carver.
