I feel bad. I really offended Sara.

We were talking about what we were going to be doing this weekend. Without even thinking (Neville, when will you learn!), I mentioned I'd be going to a party. And the way that I said it, she took it to mean that I was inviting her to come along, too! I had an awfully awkward time trying to get across that I wasn't, in fact, inviting her, and she was polite about it when she understood, but I know I hurt her feelings. I mean, I would have loved to have her meet all of you. She told me, "I'd like to meet your friends," and I just didn't know what to say.

But I can't just bring her to the party. I like her a lot. I like her more than I've liked any girl. But she's a muggle, and that means a whole lot of complications.

I'm just really starting to see how many.

Will see many of you tonight, I hope.
