I don't think those mooncakes were a good idea.
I got to meet Lavender's parents at the festival, and they were pretty nice to me. :) Her da asked a lot of questions, but he wasn't as scary as I thought he'd be.
I'm glad Ginny won third place at the contest, she's a really nice girl and she worked really hard at her lantern. I don't know if I liked Millicent's, though. Cho's was pretty, too! The procession was okay, but my lantern kept collapsing and I couldn't keep it round and flying at the same time. I gave up after a while and just held it.
I guess I couldn't see where I was going, because I tripped and knocked Lavender into the lake, but she said it was perfectly understandable.
She's so sweet! :))))
:( I tried to dry her off, but we were supposed to keep moving. So she had to stay wet until the procession stopped. I hope she doesn't catch a cold or anything.
I didn't like the mooncake part at all. I think I got a note meant for someone else.
I ended up missing a bit of the fireworks, between the note and trying to find Lavender again.
The part I did get to see was brilliant, though!
