Wondering if anyone else has suggested this - if so, blame it on allergy flare-up and drug induced deliriousness.

Anyone wonder about Snape's motives for turning Remus into a woman? Say... perhaps he's hoping to forestall the wedding??

Especially considering our discussions here re: the nature of the relationship between the three of them... Is it possible that Snape indulged in some jealousy and/or loneliness and thought he could make more time for him to worm his way into their relationship? Hmmm....

Thoughts?

I don't think so. Judging by the fact that he's holding off his normal lessons for his sixth and seventh years so that they can help him find a way to help Remus, I think he's shown real concern for his colleague. I think that it's possible he's a bit jealous, yes, but he wouldn't try to stall the wedding for his own selfish reasons, in my opinion.

I do, however, think the prank was in itself a way to try to get closer to Sirius and Remus, because I think he's beginning to realize that those two use pranks as a sign of affection, and he wanted to be a part of that.

I don't think Snape 's desperate enough to ruin his own professional reputation. It seems like a big fat mistake.

I actually don't think the fact that Remus is a woman will delay the wedding (if he continues to be a she by then, I mean). The point is that Sirius loves him no matter who or what he is.

Moreover, if the het wedding does seem to be a problem, what's wrong with using some of the stray Lupin-hair that's surely lying around and polyjuicing Remus into a full him again in time for the wedding???

Ick. Sirius fucking a person who looks like Rowling? Squickiest image ever. >.< So very scared.

I think this is a good indication that Snape is doing his damndest to turn Remus back and this save both of their manhoods.

Absolutely not.
